Have you ever wondered about the meaning of the striped barber pole you see in front of every barber shop? No? Well, take a look anyway........  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

5 pounds = US$7.11 (as of a minute ago).

That's a pretty cheap haircut, Arsenal.  Smile

When I was in:

Cleveland...9 bucks, but Andy the Barber was such a good guy I tipped him 5. Detroit Avenue in Lakewood across from the fire station they turned into a pizza joint. Still has the swirling barber pole out front. Great guy.

Dallas....$28. Impossible to find a cheap haircut without waiting two hours on a weekend. Spending 30 bucks for a haircut is quite the norm in this status-obssessed town.

Now....back to $11, get a decent crop from a flamingly gay man at Supercuts. I have noticed since Cleveland there's less to cut. Not good.

Haircuts are quite cheap in the UK, with the exception of a few barbers. I can get a haircut for 4.50 pounds in some barbers.

I noticed haircuts over in the UK were cheaper too, but I also noticed that they DO NOT keep the same standards of cleanliness and sanitation that their American counterparts do. At least the couple different places I went to.

In Israel it usually costs between 40 and 50 NIS, which is between 8.50$ and 10.70$.

1$ = 4.7NIS.

Arsenal: I'm pretty close to New York here, so prices tend to be up there. $16 is the cheapest haircut in town. It is expensive, but it's not a cheap area to live in.

I pay $7.10 for a basic military cut here on base. Good thing is that it only takes 15 minutes to cut your hair instead of like 45 minutes at some places. I rather go get my haircut and leave really quick.

It costs about £10, We have someone who comes round to the house, normally I have it shaved on a 3, with a little bit longer on the front, and I think it normally takes about 10 minutes.

Sometimes, even less!
