Do you know why they were named the Mighty Ducks? I know there was that movie about kids playing hockey and they were the Ducks. I can't remeber wich came out first. I my opinion it is not a very neat name for a NHL team.

And that team is a disgrace to Southern California hockey! Thank God we have the Kings to cheer for....but the Ducks....blargh.
I'm amazed that Kariya is still with the team, if I was him, I'd be so frustrated with the teams poor lack of performance.
I actually do remember the good years though. With Kariya, Selanne, and Rucchin, with the amazing Guy Hebert playing in goal, the Ducks actually got into the playoffs as the sixth seed, but lost in the first round to the damn Detroit Red Wings....*grrrrr*
Well, at least the Kings avenged the Ducks last year against the Wings in the playoffs. That was awesome!

GO CANUCKS!!!!!!
Yes it is from the movie of the same name. The only good part of the series (there were three movies) was Mike Modano was in the first one. Other than that, the name sucks, the colors suck, and the team sucks.
