Ok, since I was small, I've always seen tons of those old signs hanging on buildings advertising "safety" from nuclear war, with their yellow and black colors, bold "FALLOUT SHELTER" writing, and that weird circular symbol with the triangles in it. Well, I now go to a high school where the cafeteria is the fallout shelter, and every day as I enter the building, I can look up and see a fading fallout shelter sign hanging up. Well, now I want one of these signs. Most recently, the Garfield Hieghts City Hall, which proudly displayed its fallout shelter sign, which was in very good condition, disappeared. Either they tossed it out or someone asked them for it.  Sad

So, besides www.ebay.com, where else can I get one of these signs, either online, or in the local Cleveland area. I really don't want to ask my school's principal, because even though my school has two of these signs, one on each side, I think he would have me committed if I asked him that!  Nuts

The University of Minnesota, Crookston has a hall that is a fallout shelter. Probably because of the nearby Grand Forks AB that I have heard is where some of the nukes are stored.

EBAY is your best bet. Thats about the only place I can find U.S. Interstate Highway signs.

Same with the University of Illinois, a lot of the buildings here have the fallout shelter sign on the side, especially some of the older dormitories. Its quite funny actually  Laugh out loud
