About 4 hours ago I was eating ice cream and when I stuck my tongue out for the first time to lick it, it hurt. Now, small bumps are forming all over the back of my tongue and throat. Does anyone have a clue what this is?

I had a look on a few medical sites for you, and most seem to suggest that it isnt anything relevent. Sample reply to your question as noted on a medical webpage is below. I am not a doctor, and I do not suggest that you take my advice over seeing a doctor, but I thought it may make you feel better to have a reply
Topic: Bumps on Tongue

I have just recently noticed that i have a couple of white bumps on the back of my tongue-you know how when you swallow a piece of your hair-that's what it feels like. they don burn or itch or anything like that. should i be concerned?
Most of the visits I get for painless bumps on the back of the tongue turn out to be taste buds. I don't think you need to worry.

All smart ass comments aside, it sounds like an allergic reaction. I would see you regular doctor and ask him what he thinks and more than likely he will refer you to an allergist. Have you ever been typed for allergies before? Do you get the trots when you drink milk?

Around here, strep-throat is going around. Causes painful swallowing and swollen throat/tonsils with small white bumbs.

It really is amazing just how helpful everyone here is. In all seriousness, from experience with my son, sounds very much like strep throat and will require a visit with the doctor. Feel better soon.

See a doctor. If it's strep, they'll probably give you medication, in which one of them is penicillin so, just a warning, let them know before hand that you're allergic (I'm allergic to that too!)
