what would that username be?
I picked Triebwerk to combine my interest in German with my interest in aviation (Triebwerk means Jet Engine auf Deutsch), but would probably settle for Fahrwerk (landing gear) if I had to pick again. What would your alternate username be?
I am fine with my username. I have it for more than 4 years now and I don't want to change it.
Maybe only Change the 737 to MD11F so that I don't have to type:

ApplePie or SquarePeg, but I'm rather content as SkyGirl. Even if it does identify me as being a girl. Oh well.

Well, I picked ACDC8 because it was the first aircraft I ever flew on when I was a young lad ...
Air Canada Douglas Corporation 8
.... and as much as I love the nostalgic value of it, I wouldn't mind switching it to one of my other two favourite airlines/airliners: KLMMD11 or LHA340

Id probably change it to EKarsenal or something along those lines. Why? Because Emirates are one of my favourite airlines & Arsenal are the football team I support. The fact EK are Arsenal's shirt sponsor also helps
Dublin, where Sam Maguire will be coming home to in mid September

I dont think I could change my username. WA was my favorite airline in my childhood days and the 737800 shows my Boeing loyalty.

When I picked my username (which boringly enough are my inititals), I specifically refrained from including any airline and any aircraft (type or reg' ), as any such snap-shot favourites tend to change over the time.
I first tried to register as C160, the type of a/c that buzz over my house each day on approach to nearby ETNW (GAF Wunstorf), but due to user-error in the registration process, this became blocked for a while.
Now that I have been active for a couple of years here on A.net I still am happy with my user name.
Not using C160 also keeps people from erroneously thinking that I actually would work on one of these a/c ...
Quoting SmithAir747 (Reply 5): SmithAir747...or should it be SmithAlien?

I would like to change my username.
I mean I like BA(speedbird) and I like the A380 but I wish I could change it to my own name. This being an aviation forum I thought it would be good to use an aviation based name but now I wish I could change it!

I wanted to do something involving Midwest, but it was too long. But if I were absolutely forced to change it, I'd probably make it Midwest58 because I have probably been on that flight (OMA-DCA) more often than any other.
Midwest Airlines- 1984-2010

31 HT: A simple check for "Rocketman" revealed: "There is no such username registered in the Airliners.net discussion forum." -HT
32 NoUFO: "Triebwerk" is nice (welcome, btw), but I would rather go back to my actual first name.
