Well she has finally done it. Our wonderful Kylie has finally cracked the Top 10 in the Billboard Music Charts. Only 8 weeks in, and CGYOOMH is number 10, and by the looks of it, she will gain a few more spots in the coming weeks! Any guesses as to how high she will go?
As to how low she will go whilst up high, here is the latest news:

That's good to hear that she's gone Top10, but I don't expect her to go much higher. After buying the Canadian version of Fever (Fever went on sale in Canada before it did in the States and some copies made it transborder before the official American launch on 26 February) I can say while it's a decent CD, it doesn't have the sound typical of American pop. Even Madonna (our Queen) has been experimenting with similar sounds and hasn't been quite as successful than with earlier releases.
She's actually doing a bit better here in Boston, with Can't Get You Out Of My Head hovering around the 5th most popular song on Boston radio.

THIS IS KYLIE!!
On the Fever CD take note of In Your Eyes.....this one will also get into the 10 over there....I guarantee you of that.
It's just great to see that after years of hesitation in trying to make it in the American scene, she is finally being recognised in the "mainstream" as opposed to the "other" scene where she has always been well known. Looking back at her career, I have always been surprised that Confide in Me was never released over there.
If you had to pick the quintessential Kylie album, what would it be? For me it is definitely a toss up between Impossible Princess and Kylie Minogue (from 1994)

yay!! well done Kylie!! She has done amazingly well here in the UK. Cant Get You Out of My Head was number one forever here in London. In your Eyes went to number 3 and the next single "Love at First Sight" is due out next week - gonna be HUGE!!
I am off to see her in concert in Paris in June (London shows sold out!!) - Cant wait!

Gee. I thought it was only Ozzies that suffered from 'tall poppy syndrome'. Oh well.
For those who haven't heard of Kylie before she is down-to-earth and fun. She has performed many times for charity especially HIV/AIDS events and she hasn't forgotten the people who help make her who she is.
It's not often I say this but she is one celebrity I'd love to meet
