Well, folks, it has come to an end. A great time was had by all. Despite the weather, I'm glad I made the effort to come and meet everyone.

I thought I'd take the initiative and start the official aftermath thread and share some of my pics (excuse the quality, as these are straight out of the camera and resized by Photobucket):

Since I didn't get everyones name and or username, please help me out identifying everyone:

The famous Green Man:

The Group, Day One:

More of the Group, Day One:

Group, Day Two:

I could have sworn ScarletHarlot was in this one, she must have slipped back inside.

The weather sucked, but that didn't stop us from paying a visit to the Myrtle Avenue spot:

Alex (MYT332) is bored, even with Duvet Man present.

Alex (MYT332) and ? (LHRjc?) watch me while everyone else watches the Kuwait 744

Jason (JRowson), Alex (MYT332), Duvet Man, and LHRjc

I learned many important lessons during my visit. The most important, however, is to never, ever, fall asleep due to inebriation during a meet:

Ok, now it your turn to share your pics and stories. As I said, it was a pleasure meeting each and every one of you. I this will definitely not be my last visit to the UK, nor my last LHR meet.  bouncy

I love that strange expression on my face!

You know I saw the flash go off mid yawn and I just thought, 'damn it'! I wasn't too bored though, just a little cold and tired!

I'll stick some photos online tomorrow as I'm even more tired now and am off to bed shortly. BA delayed myself, Kirkie and LHRjc on stand this evening whilst we waited for some Libyan terrorists passengers from a connecting flight. Boo!

It was nice to see everybody again though. Kirkie is currently staring over my shoulder in shock at the last photo of him there! Comedy....

Oh and for the attention of those reprobates Pawsleykat and TupolevTU154: It is not a tea cosy on my head it was Hannah's bloody hat! However, it does hide the bald spot nicely....

*Edit: Just a quick bog off to Sketty222 aslo.    *

Well at least you posted some photos, which is better than none, now we need a photo with labels so we can work out who is who.

Just a homeless tramp of course. To be expected in that area of town. As long as he stays there and doesn't head to the more properous areas of St.Aines upon Thames  Wink

Well it was nice to finally meet some of you on Saturday. The weather was a bit rough, but at least the strong winds meant that Kirkie's smell was just about bareable - although in real life he made as much sense as he does on here. Disappointed that Skidmarks had a puncture on his mobility scooter and couldn't attend.

Hope you all enjoyed the rest of the weekend

Nonsense, we were just all jealous that you live out the back of a Renault Clio and therefore had your entire life inside. In fact there it is in the background.....

I should have been in that one, Phil - I did slip inside to grab my luggage at some point - probably right as you were taking the picture!

It was really great to meet all of you on Sunday. I was telling Mr. Harlot that now the Green Man feels familiar - now that I've been there all of twice.  Smile

I was at my gate by 4 pm - the taxi ride was very quick (and a rip off at 13 quid, but that's what expense accounts are for, eh?) and with no luggage I got right through security. Spent the next 1.5 hours in the Holideck lounge, which was kind of strange - I was looking right at where you guys were and was watching the landings. Would have preferred to be hanging out with Duvet Man and the gang!  Smile

Did you guys hear my plane go out or were you done by that time? It was getting kinda dark when we left.

But that was when I ruled the world
