I have heard that one before. It's a classic. I bet that telemarketer quit his job after that call.

I HATE telemarketers. They always seem to call on a Saturday morning when I am in the bathtub or during my evening dinner. Then to make matters worse, they are offering dish TV systems which I can't have as I live in an apartment building where they are not allowed. Or they are offering deals on mortgages or house renovations (I live in a damm rental you fools!). Then there are the 'debt consolidators' - I have NO debt and these are probably a bunch of theives scamming the vunerable. Worse is not they used automated telemarketers where they can't be shouted down at.

It's pretty easy to put yourself on the do not call list. No point in grumbling about something you can do something about.

I did that and I went from having 7 telemarketer calls a day to about 1. I can't wait until that day 31 comes when I can file a complaint.

Tom Mabe is a funny dude...and I loved it that Bob & Tom showcased it...

If you haven't caught it, the Bob and Tom show are a syndicated US radio morning show and they are hilarious...always friends of comedians, etc.

Great stuff...  Smile
