I am thinking about buying a new set of speakers for my computer, and was looking for some sugestions about what brands and models I should look into. I want a 2 speaker + sub woofer setup, other then that I just want something with respectable sound quality. I'd be willing to pay up to a few hundred dollars for a new set.

I recently purchased these ones... they are really cool, a little expensive, but well worth it.

Altec Lansing (what I have) are some of the best on the market. Not only are they impressive for computer gaming with 3-D sound, but there great for music and DVD movies too!

Try to get either Boston Acoustics or BOSE. They are easily the best in the business. Worth paying a little extra for.

Get yourself one of these. Same one I have. Trust me you'll be sorry if you didn't.

Got to be the best PC speaker set every invented.

Massive bass, worth the extra money.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

Klipsch Promedia 4.1

"The best PC speakers ever made just got even better."
—PC Gamer

"Klipsch PC speakers consistently blow away the competition, earning more Kick Ass Awards per capita than any other product line."
—Maximum PC

"You will not find a better sounding 4.1 system anywhere in this price range."
—Gamers Depot

"Once again, we see Klipsch out doing themselves and the competition by listening to their customers and the press by giving us a nicely updated 4.1 speaker system that is best of class."
—Gamers Depot

"This system is almost too good to be true."
—Review Zone
