I don't do anything for Halloween as it is not a traditional event down here on the Med coast and Southern Europe. It became fashionable at some point to celebrate Halloween but it is now dying off.
I am thinking of the huge party on Castro Street in the Haight-Ashbury part of San Francisco. I have seen some incredible out there. They really know how to throw Halloween events!! I am not sure if they still do it large scale there as they used to some years ago.
There was a better way to fly it was called Concorde

Quoting MadameConcorde (Reply 2): I am thinking of the huge party on Castro Street in the Haight-Ashbury part of San Francisco.
Actually Castro street is in the Castro district, not Haight-Ashbury.
There is nothing officially going on in the Haight but many bars will have a few people in costumes.
Despite the rain, there will be lots of people in the Castro, the Critical Mass ride will go on with thousands of bicyclist in Halloween costumes taking overs the city streets as well as an official city sponsored party that is free near that baseball park where the Giants play.

Quoting DocLightning (Reply 15): I'm wearing an orange flight suit with blinking orange EL wire on it and an orange hat with orange blinking lights. My answer to "What are you supposed to be?" is "Orange."
What are you wearing?
I wore my "Invisibility Suit". It made me literally invisible, and all day people kept running into me. Last time I wear the "Invisibility Suit"!

We went to a party last night, as I posted in another thread I was looking for music for this party and many of the suggestions there were well received by the revellers!
The party was at friends' house, with witches brew welcoming punch (complete with dry ice for the bubbling fog effect). They really went to town with the decorations, and most people dressed up. Plenty of slutty looking witches I went as Uncle Fester, as I shave my head anyway it wasn't much of a stretch to get the look!
As it is summer here (it was still 17°C at 2am) the party was inside and out, with a barbecue laden with burgers and hot dogs. All in all a great night!
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...

Quoting Af773atmsp (Reply 18): there were less than a dozen trick or treaters at my house.
Same here. We don't have too many trick or treaters here, but this year was exceptionally weak. Perhaps the snow scared them away?
It was an entirely different situation when we lived in Pickering. We used to live in a condo townhouse complex. 120 houses on small area, no roads, only walkways, so it was a safe and high yield area. There was a steady stream of trick or treaters basically from sunset until 10 pm.
