With all the Global problems we're experiencing, Credit Crunch, Famine, Homelessness etc I am delighted to see this shower of a Labour Government have found the time and resources to draw up a Code Of Practice for our pets.
You would be surprised with how many people just don't give a rats ass about their pets and their well being.
I think it's great that Governments are looking at ways in dealing with animal neglect and irresponsible pet owners. This code may be silly in some aspects, such as providing entertainment for your pets. But, I think its great that one can be prosecuted for leaving animals locked in cars during extreme weather or for just leaving your dog tied up to a post 24/7.
Various law makers in Canada are looking at banning exotic pets and acutally limiting to how many pets one can have per household.

Yea for animal rights!
But seriously dudes, how much of a nanny state are y'all gonna let your country become? It's like there's rules for everything, and you're constantly being watched for fear that you're about to break every one of them!

We'll ignore the stupid ones like we've done for years and years. Labour will be kicked out at the next election with any luck and hopefully this pointless overloading of the statute book will come to an end.
***Disclaimer*** This is not an endorsement of the Tory party, I just feel that 'New' Labour have been in far too long and this is demonstrated amply by the aforementioned pointless law making.

On the flip side of the coin Labour have indeed flushed the British people down the toilet with their stupid rules and regs. The worst kind of socialism. Hopefully the Conservatives will win the next election and get these low lifes outs of power once and for all. Go to any British school these days and look at the inmates and the total lack of education and respect the kids have.
