A power failure on the train network here delayed 50,000 people trying to get home from the Oaks Day races yesterday. The picture in the attached link was on the front page of this mornings paper, an absoutly gorgeous blonde chick getting arrested by the cops. Needless to say this prompted a few choice comments at the office....
For those who aren't from these parts, the Oaks Day races is the traditional 'Lady's day' race meeting, there are litterally thousands of girls all done up to the nines for the day..... Was thinking of going this year but didn't plan out..

I think the scene in the movie Kenny sums up how it really is at the races
they all go dressed up acting somebody they arnt and thinking thier special, at the end of the day after a few drinks they all turn back into the slobs that they truely are.
