My Browns lost to the Colts in Cleveland. Final was 10-6. No offensive TDs.

Thanks for noting that! My teams standing is now 6-5-1 (They should have beat the Bengels....)

Yes, they should have beat the Bengals then. Oh, if only McNabb and company could have had an outing like they had against Arizona that day... The Eagles looked really good on Thursday! That is one hell of a way to bounce back from utter embarassment 4 days prior to that against Baltimore... They need to give to Westbrook more and more. Take the ball away from McNabb, give it to Westbrook. That way, McNabb doesn't have to be Superman week after week, which I think is why the Eagles have lost most of their games this season...

Broncos' defense finally came through for once and held a game for Cutler and Scheffler against the Jets. They seem to play great against good teams, but really let down their guard against sub-par teams. Chargers lost again, so with a three game difference in the loss column, I'm confident they have a hold on the AFC West.

Will the REAL Stillers please stand up. Despite their record, they've had some consistency problems on the offensive side, but maybe they're warming up at the right time, Steeler83.

As for the Clowns, another week, another QB injured. Derek Anderson got hammered late in the game and has at least a strained MCL now. That leaves the Browns with Ken Dorsey as the starter against the Titans next week, backed up by Josh Cribbs. Hell, I'm almost ready to let Cribbs do it. At least he has some speed and can be used in a lot of different ways.

Crennel is gone. No issues with that. Only thing in question now is if any of the coaches will remain, if GM Phil Savage stays, and who will have to rebuild-again-this organization.

Thank God for the Cavaliers right now.

Well, I don't know if Detroit even deserves a team...they need to dismantle the team from top to bottom, the only people I think they should save:

Drew Stanton
Kevin Smith
Wide Receivering Core
Jason Hanson
Nick Harris

First in line to go:

Jeff Backus
Rod Marinelli

Was watching part of that game Thursday, and the problem isn't effort-as Phil Simms said, over and over, it's just that there's no talent on that team. They got rid of their best player in the off-season, Sean Rogers, but beyond a few players here and there, they're slow, confused and, well, just not talented.

It'll take at leat 4 years to rebuild that team. That can't do any worse at GM than they've had. I don't blame the coach, to be honest. He's just been given nothing to work with.

Well the Broncos beat the Jets 34-17. So I am pretty excited about that. Wont be excited come playoff time as I am sure our butts will get handed to use seeing that our defense is still lacking. Today was a good showing but once we play some East teams, boy are we in for a wild ride!

The Bears pretty much laid another egg tonight. Sometimes I wonder if Lovie Smith's headset is actually hooked up to anything. He once again looked confused on every play. Kyle Orton also had one play that made his stats look good, again. I think he went 11/29 today but take away the 65 yard TD pass to Devin Hester, he's 10/28 with less than 100 yards passing and 3 interceptions.

1st and 10 from their own half line, the Viking go into an obvious pass formation and the Bears still stack the line with 8 men. Peanut Tillman decided this would be a good time to play Bears football and let a receiver free because what team throws passes over 10 yards?

Might I mention the Bears receivers with more ball drops than a 7th grade class.

Oh well at least next year we'll get a sweet mid round draft pick... knowing the Bears we're going to go after another TE.

I usually don't follow the Steelers that often, but I hope they continue, at least for one more week and kick some Cowbot ass next Sunday.  bigthumbsup

What do you think should happen Falcon?

In my opinion, Romeo should get fired and the same fate should happen to his Def. coordinator, Mel Tucker.

What do you think should happen to Rob Chudzinkski (sp?) the offensive coordinator?

It was either put 8 in the box or have Adrian Peterson make ya'll look silly again! I must say my Vikings defense suffocated the Bears offense, but the turning point was the 4 stops on the 1 yard line.

It was a great game though, savage hits from everybody all game long.

I think I'd have to agree, the team seems to (hopefully) be getting onto a hot streak here. This is the time to do it.

Inconsistent isn't even the word for their offensive woes, they were virtually not even present as an offensive unit. Just ask the Eagles what offensive unit they banged around back in week 3. (The same to the Giants and Colts). After seeing the way the Steelers have played the past 2 weeks, I also think they're improving. I hope they ride this wave through the end of the season. Their defense is beyond a force to be reckoned with...

You know, that is a royal shame. I don't get how they went from last season to... well... you've pretty much summed up what is happening. Maybe Crennel was not the answer either. That team needs quite a bit of work. They need to draft better talent. There is a lot of talent there right now, but sooner or later they're going to get hurt and they'll need someone who can step in and step up, which it doesn't look like they have...

So mate, here's to Cleveland hopefully turning it around next year, and let's bring back the Steelers-Browns Rivalry!!  champagne

Hahaha, ya know, I am sitting here at my abode watching the reviews on NFL Total Access here on NFL Network, and I saw that dreadful recap of the Browns-Colts game. That is a heartbreaker! 10-6, a measily FOUR points!! Then to lose both QBs to an injury...

Man, as an NFL fan, that sucks! I sure hope they get back to their winning ways from the pre-merger era. I understand they were a powerhouse back in the day...

I was at the game yesterday, and to tell you the truth fans weren't as pumped as they usually are. It seemed as though they knew the Browns weren't going anywhere.

As for the QBs... well, let just say we should now compete for a high draft pick.... When your 3rd stringer is gonna be the starter against the Titans defense... you might as well fight for a top 5 draft pick..

Don't get me wrong, i'm still a die-hard, season ticket holder, going-to-EVERY-home-game-and-screaming-my-lungs-off-kinda-fan... but it's time to clean house starting with the owner who doesn't seem t care about his NFL franchise, the GM, headcoach, and the arrogant players (such as Winslow and Edwards)..
