What Color Do You Associate Mostly With Christmas?

In the U.S., the traditional Christmas colors are red and green, with white, gold, and silver often also added. I wouldn't necessarily say it would be the same worldwide.

However, if you would associate one color with Christmas more than any other, what color would it be?

I would associate Christmas mostly with red. I find green to be more of a St. Patrick's Day color rather than a Christmas color.

Me thinks white for the snow and green for the trees.

I would be happy to add a number of traditional Christmas Carols sung by the best choirs (like that of Westminster Abbey) with the Great Organ but they have no colours.

Santa Claus (red and white) and LappLand (all white) will also be part of my picture

There was a better way to fly it was called Concorde

Bearing in mind that the last time it was white in the UK was 1998, I'd say RED - and that has nothing to do with the urge to stab members of one's family!

Red, since my Coke can has red on it (and Coke is the "official drink of Christmas", so therefore my mom buys it by the truckload), Santa Claus and his red sleigh/suit and also the color of ink that shows up on your credit card bills at the end of the year.

I also like to associate Christmas with white (snow) and brown (lack of snow here in Calgary).

Cheers,
Nik

Red and dark green. In my childhood I would have said white, but since snow on Christmas is a rarity now, not anymore.

Two colours , Blue and Red

Blue for the sky and the sea when having a barbecue down at the beach ( not here in Belgium , obviously , but when having a real xmas in the southern hemisphere rather than the sad damp grey northern hemisphere xmas  sigh  )

Red partially for sunburnt skin ... but mostly for my bank balance at the end of December

What about Pink for Valentine's Day? IMO Green is more of a St. Patrick's Day color as I said earlier; there is no other color you can really associate with it. With Valentine's Day, you can associate it with Red, Pink, and White.

Speaking of Christmas colors, isn't it a coincidence that the three most popular Christmas colors in the U.S. (Red, Green, and White) are also the colors of the Italian flag? I wonder if they originated there.
