The governor of my state got his start in politics out of a similar tragedy. He was reluctantly serving on a town council and some nut came in and shot the mayor and a couple council members and he bacame mayor and went from there.

So much for gun control, huh? Would have been nice for an armed citizen to take this guy out before he had killed so many.

Quite bizarre! I can only assume the last wire broke in his head and he went crazy. One interesting note, though-- isn't the Green Party vehemently anti-gun?
