What is up with the legs, most of the women I saw had short, stumpy, bandy legs, they look like old cowpokes who've been riding horses for decades. I'm not say they aren't pretty, I saw a lot of pretty girls, but very very few with nice pins, does anyone have any ideas why?

I don't know about the legs, but maybe thats why they always kind of hop while they run. We have a lot of asian exchange students here and when ever they're running from one bus to another bus they have to most unique jog. Quite cute really.

When you've lived here a long time, you start to appreciate a long pair like a cold alcoholic beverage on a sweltering day.
Local urban legend has it the short legs come from hundreds of years of the traditional sitting style for women, which is now virtually dead except for tea ceremonies and grandparents' living rooms. In it, women are required to sit on their shins with their knees and thighs together, unmoving, for long periods of time. People will tell you doing that from age 4 on will stunt leg growth. Don't know for sure, but the logical extension is that a local with long legs was probably rebellious from early on

Quoting KiwiRob (Thread starter): short, stumpy, bandy legs, they look like old cowpokes who've been riding horses for decades. I'm not say they aren't pretty, I saw a lot of pretty girls, but very very few with nice pins, does anyone have any id
Look at younger girls, teenagers. Their legs are allright, at least for the time being. What they do is stand around with their feet pointing inwards, it's supposed to make them look younger and cuter. As they get older, the legs end up looking weird, and don't get me started on a 20 year old Japanese girl trying to walk in heels.
Quoting Gocaps16 (Reply 4): They walk 10 miles 6 days a week to and from school/work. Most Japanese I live at either walks or ride their bicycles around town.
*Sigh* Oh, Americans. Listen up: Walking DOES NOT fuck up your legs. When will you people learn...?
Sure, we're concerned for our lives. Just not as concerned as saving 9 bucks on a roundtrip to Ft. Myers.
