Is there a better sports story this spring than my Michigan State Spartans in the NCAAs?
Few expected them to beat the defending Naitional Champion Kansas team.
No one said they could beat Louisville.
No one said they would beat UCONN.
And now, no one says they can beat Carolina. Coach Tom Izzo is the best in the business. I'll tell you what, this team is peaking at the right time, in the right place: Ford Field, Detroit, Michigan. What a great story and a lift for a downtrodden city and state.
Beating UNC will not be easy. But they can do it.
GO GREEN . . . GO WHITE!!!!
Maggs swings, it's a drive deep to left! The Tigers are going to the World Series!!!

What year did you graduate? I am graduating in December
GO STATE!!!
I think State will win, especially since the only people that believes in them is themselves. Digger, Dick V. and all them give MSU no chance....blah blah blah,
ready to prove them wrong!!

Yesterday, my former roommate, a UofM grad who was visiting me from NYC, was actually cheering for MSU.
Now, I have seen a thing or two in my life, but Wolverines everywhere were cheering for MSU.
I have my M.D. from UofM, but prick me and I bleed Cardinal. Hail Stanford, Hail! And I will *NEVER* root for another team, regardless of what it does to a championship series.
