I don't think that posting an answer is compulsory!!

I don't remember the first song I got high to, but I do have flashbacks to the first time I got so totally drunk that I was incapable of speech whenever I hear a "Europop" song called Dolce Vita by Ryan Paris! Ibiza 1983...happy days!!

I think you basically just dropped yourself right in it there, Doc  Wink

As for me, I've never smoked anything. I can't anyway, I'm asthmatic so it's a bad idea.

I remember the song I first got drunk to though....  Silly

Because most people have tried a drug or two at some point in their lives.

You can't get in trouble with the law for admitting you smoke/have smoked weed.

Oh My God people, if you're not gonna answer the question asked then don't bother posting.  Yeah sure

Only ever listened to music once while high...I think it was Money by Pink Floyd. I just sat at my computer completely zoned out staring at the wall. I've also watched Saw 5...that was fun. My friend kept getting freaked out at sudden movements in the movie. Me...I just sat there and started laughing for no reason at random times. lol

I've never been high, but the first time I got drunk, I was with some friends and we were listening to "I'm On a Boat" by "The Lonely Island (ft. T-Pain)". That song is funny as hell while sober. It was hysterical when drunk!  Silly

I do have a hazy memory (a warm and fuzzy memory) of an Alice Cooper Show from around 1977-78. The song "Billion Dollar Babies" was the high point of the evening.

From around 1981 The Boys Next Door song "Shivers" was played at a party that that had so many chemicals in attendance that the results caused me to swear off illicit drugs till this day. (The odd Vodka and Tang is my only "vice")

No. But, about the same time as my alleged "first time," I remember watching the movie "M" starring Peter Lorre. I was stone cold sober, but I was SO freaked out!

My first time was also to Pink Floyd, "The Wall" was playing I'm pretty sure. Not only was it my first time, it was also the most high I have ever been. Felt like I was falling through the floor and melting into the music, kinda cool actually.

Ever been drunk? Alcohol is far, far worse for you than weed, but many people here seem to think admitting to smoking pot is a terrible sin while it's pretty much ok to get buzzed or drunk with some regularity. Personally, I don't sell it and I only do it with friends on occasion, but its legal status for me is a joke because cigarettes and alcohol are legal, yet they are much more destructive.

I am not really criticizing your thread, but it just made me realize how common and 'undramatic' drug useage had become these days. I'm sort of afraid the taboo around drugs is slowly fading. Not that smoking a little weed here and there is anything wrong, but it does remain a slippery slope towards harder drugs for the weakest amongst us.

Anyway, different debate.

Maybe in the immediate future, physically, yes. But for paranoia, psychosis, delusions, it's regular cannabis use and not regular alcohol consumption which will really ruin your life. That's why it was recently reclassified here in the UK.

Only since the Sixties, like   . And in other cultures, drugs are just there, like alcohol might be to us.

I agree - everything in moderation, hey.

Lemme see... It was 1990, I was 15 and I was with my older brother. Though I really don't remember (I was pretty toasted, I remember that) it had to be something by Motley Crue or Pantera.

I don't smoke it any more. The last couple of times I did, it only made me stupid and hungry. It seemed so much better in college.
