I'm surprised nobody started a thread about this within the last 24 hours. So here it is, the 2009 Schedule has been released, and it can be viewed at just about any sports website (nfl.com, foxsports.com, etc)
I think Dallas and Pittsburgh top the list when it comes to prime time games. Dallas gets 6 appearances and the Steelers get 5.
Initially, the NFL season was supposed to kick off with the Ravens coming to Pittsburgh, but they apparently complained about having too many night games in Pittsburgh. So what happens? One of the prime time games is Steelers @ Ravens near the end of the season.
Anyway, for the Steelers' season:
Preseason
Week 1 vs Cardinals
Week 2 @ Redskins
Week 3 vs Bills (maybe they can shut up TO?)
Week 4 @ Panthers
Regular Season
Week 1 vs Titans
Week 2 @ Bears
Week 3 @ Bengals
Week 4 vs Chargers
Week 5 @ Lions
Week 6 vs Browns
Week 7 vs Vikings
Week 8 BYE
Week 9 @ Broncos
Week 10 vs Bengans
Week 11 @ Chiefs
Week 12 @ Ravens
Week 13 vs Raders
Week 14 @ Browns
Week 15 vs Packers
Week 16 vs Ravens
Week 17 @ Dolphins
Certainly nowhere near as daunting and seemingly difficult as last season's schedule!
How about the rest of your teams? Plus, it's almost draft time!

San Diego Chargers:
Ill be more simplified in my thoughts about the upcoming 2009 season.
Our preseason is SEA,SFO,ATL and the Cards.
Regular season:
I'm excited because we get the NFC East. While the Eagles and Redskins are coming to SAN,I'm glad we're going to Dallas for the Cowboys in December and at Giants in NY.These should be great contests. Our road game schedule also has us at them damn Steelers(LOL) and Titan's.
I protest! When do we get a home game against those Steelers! What's a matter?Afraid you guys will melt in the sun! Bunch of wimps.(lol)
On a serious off topic note and I'm surprised no thread on this one-
When I was a kid, watching NFL films, that awesome voice of Harry Kalas was something special. It was like listening to Vin Scully of the Dodgers. It was like a having great wine.Kalas, who was the Phillies announcer, did make guest appearances on our local MLB teams. One of kind! R.I.P Harry!

Im glad the Giants don't have a by week until week 10, this way if they have guys with minnor injuries they could heal up for the playoffs. The last few years the Giants had the bye week at the begining of the season.
And who decides what team gets on prime time? Why do the Cowboys get 6 prime time appearances?

Quoting Dragon-wings (Reply 4): Why do the Cowboys get 6 prime time appearances?
Because we're the team that has the biggest following nationally.

Then, week 6-8 will be are division rivals and that's going to be tough doing back to back to back.
After that mess, we fly to NYG to face Eli Manning for the first time (be it he won XLII, but we still need to smack him after the face he pulled.)
This is going to be an interesting season for sure. We need to beat Miami, the fins have had our number for the past 9 games. Eagles, Titans and the Boys are on my worried list as well.
Every problem has a simple solution; finding the simple solution is the difficult problem.

Quoting Longhornmaniac (Reply 9): It's all about the money, and the NFL knows where the money is.
So, apparently that makes Steeler Nation chopped liver...
ok...
Got Six?
Heh, I like the one analyst's comments during Sports Center when debating who America's Team was, and the one guy said, "well if you want a disfunctional mess with all the drama, then I would have to go with the Cowboys." Ultimately, he insinuated that the Steelers are the real America's Team given that they're the most successful franchise of the modern era, the winningest franchise in the AFC, etc...
Well whatever... America's Team? Well, I guess it's fitting that they have that billion dollar monstrosity of a stadium now. I guess concerning their egos, it's probably not big enough...

What the New York Yankees are to baseball, the Dallas Cowboys are to football--the most polarizing team in the NFL. Hopefully, getting rid of "bad apples" like Adam Jones, Tank Johnson and Terrell Owens will stabilize the team and they will be competitive right to the end of the season for a change.
