check this out for your personal entertainment!! (having to do with the presidential candidates)

http://www.dovewinds.com/dubya/

hehehehehe

there was another site with a "presidential candidate face warp" where you can click and drag Al Gore's nose to his ear or George W. Bush's eye to his mouth...very interesting and just downright hilarious!!! too bad the site is "no longer hosted" on that server...

Did ya see this map that was on the bottom of the page? Red indicates Bush counties, Blue indicates Gore counties. Damn, Bush kicked some arse in terms of counties, DAMN.

DeltaRNOmd-80, as you will notice, Bush did win the majority of the counties. But...notice the counties he did not win.

Boston
New York
Chicago
Los Angeles
San Francisco
Seattle
Memphis.

These are all very big population centres, vital to winning a presidential vote.

C'mon mate.

Let DeltaRNDXXX be happy that Bush won the vital seats of Noneck, Virginia and Backwater, Arkansas.

Also, where is Alaska on that map? Or has it reverted back to the Russians recently?

Prissie, that was uncalled for, I made no comments on Gore or Bush, I just stated my amazement on the number of counties Bush won, dang, does that statement express discontent for Gore and democrats? I think not....

I am impressed.....Half of americans seem to think it is an island off the coast of California, since that is where they put it on the maps.

Alaska Doesn't have counties. There is a lot of unincorperated territory up here. I don't think that Gore would have won anyway. His anti-development, pro-bunny hugger stand netted him about thirty percent of the vote up here. The U.S. treats Alaska like a slave colony anyway. Why should it be surprising that it was left of the map. And people wonder why I am registered with the Alaska Independence Party. Someday Alaska will be it's own country on the world stage.

If anybody wants to know why the electoral college needs to be kept. That map explains why. Why should any politican give a perverbial s--- about any of the smaller populated areas. It was either Marx or Lenin that kept talking about the Tranny of the Majority.

OBAMA-WORST PRESIDENT EVER....Even SKOORB would be better.

Um... how does the electoral college help small areas not having enough politcal weight? You make it sound as though Alaska is saved by having electoral colleges. 3 of them... the e.c. system was set up so that educated people would be making the final decision, it has nothing to do with dividing up vote.

hello all:
i don't want to be rude about this...but i posted the dubya dance site just to get everyone to lighten up about the election...not to start a debate about the electoral college and its effectiveness...did anybody even look at the site and get a kick out of it??? seems like everybody just attacked the electoral college and gave no attention to what the post was about...i'm not saying it was wrong to discuss the electoral college on this post, i just think that most people missed the point...
