The original enterprise used one, Enterprise D had one that allowed them to go thru rock, it was the same one that was installed on Riker's old ship the USS Pegasus, and of course ya cant forget the Defiant (So its 4 really)

I have to admit I had to look up the 2nd role, I never knew he played a Klingon captain in ST:TMP, might just be the excuse I need to watch it (Though it is not one of my favorite)

With out looking I cant recall, but I will say I loved that ending, all the ships near enough going to warp at the same time, love the noise.

Correct.The US episode title was a "Balance Of Terror." It was sort of a "Enemy Below"(submarine movie) version of deep space.This eposide also exposed the "new weapon" which was the cloaking device which was later stolen by Kirk and crew in,"The Enterprise Incident" which was never exploited in the movies.The cloaking device reappeared in ST3.

Also,doing some looking up,and I forgot about that Lenard's,Ambassador Sarak role,was first used in another TV eposide,"Journey To Babel."
