Next they'll be criticizing frogs for eating flies.

As a vegetarian I agree with a couple of their views, but this insane. I don't understand why they have to be such media whores all the time (because this is all they're really doing...I really doubt a soul in PETA cared about the welfare of flies before this incident).

I loved Colbert's response to their recent campaign against eating fish. PETA tried to rebrand fish as "sea kittens," under the logic that fish are just as much animals as kittens, but due to their bad image we don't think of fish as such. Colbert commented that PETA was right, and that he was going to stop eating sea kittens. Instead, he'd start eating...cue picture of adorable kitten...land fish! Mmmm...delicious crunchy deep-fried land fish.

He is practicing for a visit to Aus. A talent we need here in summer. Mind he will find the bush flies are a more tricky adversary.

Send the PETA spokesperbody here and we will let her co-exist with bush flies for a while, or better yet, she can have a few march flies take pieces out of her. I will bet she will find it hard to co-exist with a march fly and even more in a couple of days when the maggots hatch.

Good idea. They should put their money where their mouth is....let some volunteers spend couple of nights with a room that has flies, mosquitos, roaches, bedbugs etc etc. Then we'll see who kills who.

Local radio station here in Hampton Roads (PETA HQ is here) always has their yearly fishing tournament at the pier next to PETA HQ. They used to do a pulled pork sandwich bbq as well I have heard.

I strongly suggest ALL of you to watch this video. It shows just how pathetic PETA's arguments are and how incredibly hypo critic the organization is. Viewer discretion, bad language...

These people don't have anything better to do with their lives. And why are we encouraging them by listening to their crap? We should just ignore these idiots.

Just for that PETA I shall now proceed to squish a spider crawling on my floor. I would have let it crawl away but I changed my mind, thank you.

Hear, hear! I am all for sanitary conditions at feed lots (such as they can be) but elevating animals to higher status than us is absurd. Scientificly, our bodies are made to process protien in the forms of red meat, fish, poultry and pork. If a religous group decides not to eat one of these, fine. I understand and respect that. I, however, love jambalaya and pulled pork sandwiches and Cuban pork sandwiches.

Besides, these PETA people (save Pam Anderson) look sick all the time. Who wants to be a part of that?
