I can't wait. I'm sick of watching the repeats on Dave. Will be good to watch a new series. I don't think they should reveal who The Stig is. I think it's great the way they play him out to be from another planet/an air of mystery about him.

Why? The mystery of the Stig is one of the best parts of the show...

Does this mean we will see a new Stig soon? Maybe a color change..... a Pink Stig maybe.. Female??

Anyone know when the new series will be on BBC America?

Oh lighten up a bit. You'd have heard it from somewhere eventually. Ive had many people tell me the end of shows in the past.  Smile

Its interesting that Clarkson ended the show saying Schumacher wasnt the Stig. And also on the credits he was only listed as a 'Guest Star' So maybe he isnt.

Just saw it. Was an ok episode, definitely missing some substance, but I can't wait to see the rest of the series  hyper

I'm sure it was nothing more than a joke. The "real" stig is taller and walks very differently than Schumi. I wouldn't be surprised if for the rest of the episodes have more surprise Stig presentations.

The hint was at the end, with Schumi getting lost on the track. The Stig would know his way around by now.

Good show.

Just gimme a pair of loose-fittin’ shoes, some tight pussy, and a warm place to shit, and I’ll be all right.

No it wasn't, and the End was HILARIOUS...I gaurantee though that M.S. drove the Ferrari FXX around, Ferrari wouldn't give just anyone that car to fly around.

and it's frankly a really ugly car...no offense to Ferrari.

Just finished it...I'm excited Top Gear's back on...We Americans get the TG seasons, one/two seasons behind, and heavily edited (no News, or Celeb interviews)....

I agree with VonRichtofen, I read your post last night before I watched the show. It completely ruined the joke for me.

It's brilliantly quick, and you're exactly right, it looks like Darth Vader's personal vehicle, but It's not a good looking car. I actually liked the Avora, great looking car.

Plus I didn't they take a car down off the board because it couldn't get over a speed bump?....
I don't think the FXX should be up there either.

On a related note, who saw the James May programme that's part of the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11?

Not one the those seeking great detail or revelations, not supposed to be, May meets Moon-walkers Alan Bean, Charlie Duke and Harrison Schmitt, but the highlight was May's trip in a U-2 up to 70,000 feet.
Clearly very moved by the view from that altitude, I relate to a degree, having been up to 60,000 feet.

IS IT SUSAN BOYLE!?

 Big grin  Big grin

But there is no way he is the Stig. I think he was introduced in O3, and Mike retired in O6, there is no way a pro F1 driver also worked for the BBC.

To qualify, the car has to be road-legal and go over a speed bump. I think the FXX satisfies both.

For the fans in the US you can download the shows via torrents.

I watched the new one. Loved it. And no Shu is not the stig. Michael is too short and narrow to be the stig. I'd love to have that new lotus. A little disapointed in it's track times but...

That Vincent black was a beutiful machine. Had the hamster not fouled the carbs he woulda probably beat capt. slow.

As for Jeremy I wonder just how much coal he shoveled and how much soot was rubbed onto his face to make it look good?

Well, the car gave it away who the Stig was - this time. The only FXX completly in black is owned by Schumacher.

The FXX is not road legal, hence it shouldn't be on the list.
And I guess the ordinary Stig wouldn't be as fast as M.S. in his personal race maschine, would he?

The FFX is not road legal. It is to only be driven on approved Ferrari track days.

I thought that that was simply a marketing ploy. But I checked, and you are correct - it is not a street legal car, although I don't know what it would be missing.

I thought the only thing keeping it from being street legal was Ferrari it's self? With it's owner imposed restrictions.

The FXX was by the way Schumacher's personal car, he is the only one who's got a black one without a white stripe.

Some say......that his personal race machine is actually a red rocket with 4 wheels  Wink...others say he flew to Dunsford in his Private Falcon 2000 that you can clearly see in the FXX lap...all we know is...he's not the stig  Smile
