The actress Farrah Fawcett has just died. I don't even think she managed to marry before dying. May rest finally rest in peace after battling the horrid disease that is cancer.

Just read it, so sad. I loved her movies and she was on just about every teenager's wall with probably the most famous poster going. R.I.P. Farrah you will be missed.

She has had a extremely difficult, terrible battle with cancer. At least her suffering is over. Prayers for her and her loved ones.

What a shame. She was evidently so much more than the cover presented. RIP

Farrah seemed like a very down to earth and amazing person. Her passing strikes me a lot more than most celebrities for some reason. RIP, you will be missed.

Tell me about it! I knew she was sick with cancer for a couple of years tho. It's still very sad to hear this.

Farrah, you will be missed by many!! Rest in peace!

Wow...just heard this. RIP Farrah.

Cancer seems to be claiming a lot of famous people. I read that Dr. Jerri Nielsen (the doctor who diagnosed and treated her own breast cancer when she was in the south pole), also died this week. RIP Dr. Nielsen.

Same for me. My mom had cancer and died (9 months ago) at 62 year old also. Farrah Fawcett's cancer and death reminds me so much of my mom's fight.

I know she was MORE than Charlie's Angels, but that is what most people know her from. She recieved 3 emmy nominations. One was from the THE BURNING BED, what were the other 2?

May she rest in peace. At least her suffering is over.

Rest in piece Farrah Faucett. At least now her pain is over and people cannot present falsehoods about her medical treatment.

This was a really good movie IIRC, saw it on one of those old movie channels.

I thought she was previously married, to this man:

Clever how he slipped her into his theme song...

But I've been seen with Farrah
I've never been seen with anything than a nine
So fine"

What a day... I'm very sad to hear about Farrah's passing. She was a 70's icon, and even though I was born in 1988, her passing makes me feel old.

My favorite picture of her:

We'll miss that beautiful smile!

Sorry but a bit too young to really appreciate her.

Wasn't quote old enough to really to envy Jack Elam working on her in the back of the Ambulance in "Cannonball Run"

Actually that is the movie I know her from...."I love trees"

That was one sexy lady. Sad to see her go but I'd prefer that to seeing someone living in pain. One of my greatest regrets was not having my cat put down when she was obviously in increasing pain.

I don't understand why she never married Ryan O'Neil. They could have had perfect looking babies. (Or maybe they did)

25 Solnabo : . Remember her from Charlies Angels on TV here *mid 70´s* May she rest in peace //Mike
26 JAL : Really sad day, may she rest in peace.
27 OzarkD9S : Sucks that MJ's death overshadows hers. Not that she was a major talent but she was an icon. RIP FF
28 Falstaff : Reminds me of when Robert Mitchum died and then Jimmy Stewart died the next day. The Jimmy Stewart death was much more publicized than Mitchum's, and
29 L-188 : Sort of when Sammy Davis Jr. Died, which was expected after his long illness, but then the news broke that Jim Henson had also passed and nobody knew
30 Tommy767 : I hate when I read about famous people dying of cancer. It FREAKS me out even though I'm 22. RIP Farrah.
31 Falstaff : Lots of regular everyday people die of cancer too.
