This is lame as the German is not what the subtitles say. The German is unchanged from the movie, just the English subtitles refer to Michael Jackson...

That is exactly the point for non-german audiences, you just read the subtitles, see the acting and match them. That's what makes it funny.

And for the Germans it is strange as you hear the German discussion and then read the English subtitles which say something REALLY different. That is strange
But even then I cannot really laugh about it. I guess I don't like jokes which involve Hitler or this time of German history.

It was funny the first 3 times the subtitles where changed. The novelty wears of.

It's an ok video but not the best. This fragment from the Untergang has been used for thousands of parodies. The windows one is the best known. The problem with this one, even if you don't know German you should recognize some words like Michael Jackson or song titles in the spoken words, it is too clear a mismatch while some others could be believable if you don't pay too much attention to the sound.
My personal favorite of all these is this one which has a new Dutch and well done synchonization, some collegues quarelling about where to go on the annual picknick, showing Hitler as particularly whiny, it could have been David of the Office, and the accents are funny and fitting too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8xm5E7tWMg
nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

Some of you people need to lighten up... it's a parody and it's not suppose to be an exact words to lips synchronization. It's great that someone had the creativity to do this.

That's the whole point. They've done this for numerous vidoes. Someone made one about Hitler being disappointed about Flight Sim X. Someone else made one for when the Cowboys were eliminated from the playoffs. Someone else made one for Hitler finding out there's no Santa and Hitler's day at Disney. One of my friends made one about our own ROTC detachment.

My favorite was when Hitler found out the Cowboys were eliminated from the playoffs by the New York Giants. And Hitler had just bought a new T.O. jersey too.

I understand what you mean...I sometimes feel wrong to laugh at that film...
And I know alot of germans feel bad about the history...
You know the one thing I realise that in this present time...the germans are some of the friendliest people I've met...I don't know what's happened to england but the respect from girls here has gone...just the whole culture now has gone down the drain...which is why I want to leave this country...I don't know where to though

Well, that's the problem. I wasn't part of this history, I was born nearly 30 years after the end of the war, but people still blame ME for what happened then... I am not happy what happened there, I am not supporting anybody who thinks this time was a good time. I just try to move on, but not forget what happened.
I must say, I made the worst experiences in England. back in 1992 I was walking through a city in Cornwell and some English guys found out we were Germans and the only thing they could think of was: "Heil Hitler". We stared at them and then they beat up 2 of my friends... Just for being Germans...
This is getting better these days, but still happens every once in a while.
I get name called everywhere around the globe just for being German. I am sure they think it is funny, but it is not - especially not if you are a German citizen. It is sad... They just don't get it...

I know what you mean...England is awfull for these Yobs...or bad youths...I don't go out at night to pubs or anywhere...Every tv program "Street Wars" "Cops With Camera's" Show so many bad fights from football or from nights out on the town...
They are just bad...lots of racism...now they are doing it to polish people for coming to england...there's just so many selfless people (selfless or selfish? I forget)
I try to find somewhere where people are not narrow minded...I usually like to think pilots and cabin crew are the best people who have a good heart...along with police and hospital carers...that's how i have to look at life these days...
That's disgusting that your friends got beaten up...I think it's sick...

I highly recommend to people who haven't seen Der Untergang to go out and rent the DVD. The Youtube videos are based on the movie...it's about Hitler's last days in his bunker. Great acting on the part of Bruno Ganz (Hitler) and it's pretty well written.
