The Global 500 world's largest corporations list for 2009 has been released, and it is an interesting read I must say:
http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortu...global500/2009/snapshots/6388.html

Among the highlights:
Wal-Mart has dropped to #3, replaced in the top spot by Royal Dutch Shell, with Exxon Mobil staying in the silver medal place

4 of the top 5, and 7 of the top 10 are oil companies

Toyota is #10, making it the largest auto manufacturer in the world (no surprise there)...VW is #14 and GM #18.

Japan Post Holdings is #11...very, very interesting to me

Anyone else find this interesting or is it just me? (be nice  Wink)
