I've been a fan on them for years now, but there's still one thing I wonder about. Did they ever make a version of the song (or possibly playing it at a concert) Don't Look Back In Anger with Liam singing, instead of Noel. It would be interesting to hear, though...

I saw them 5 times in 1994.
From small venues up to medium sized ones.
Loved Definitely Maybe . much needed kick up the arse at the time.
Each single off that they brought out, the other tracks on each EP were good too, even the cover versions were well done.
We thought at the time, either Noel is a new songwriting powerhouse, or he's peaked too soon and put all decent stuff he's ever going to do.
Then, What's The Story? .
I only liked about half of it, and I wasn't hugely enamored with what I thought were the better parts even.
But that album made them huge (that's my finger so NOT on the pulse of the general public).
However, saw them at Earl's Court in 1995, then the following year at Knebworth.
Then that awful third album, hated it, you could almost hear the coke being snorted all the way through, in it's bombastic, lazy, poorly mixed and overlong tracks.
So, for me and most others I know, who also saw them at the start, it was for us the case that Noel put all his good stuff out early on, like we thought.
From a hungry for success songwriter, to lazy gibberish.
Gave up on them after that.
But large sections of the record buying, gig going public don't agree!
The annoying thing is also, Noel can often be quite witty in interviews, but it never seems to translate into his songwriting and lyrics, not since the early days at least.
Of course his muppet brother is just thick, he actually thought Spinal Tap were a real band!
To your question, which I rather forgot in my ranting!
I dimly recall Liam singing it once, though I'm really not totally sure when.
Bear in mind the last time I saw them was in 1997, (second time at Earl's Court, a poor show compared to the previous one, another reason to give up on them).
