Hi,

I recently went on a road trip across Europe with 9 others including a permaban off here that I won't mention as don't want to break rules. I thought some people might appreciate seeing pics/report as we have put together a website detailing the trip  Smile Route was basically UK-Dover-Belgium-Lux-Germany-Austria-Switzerland-Italy-S.France-France-UK via 16 days

http://www.miraclemondeo.co.uk/

Basically we bought a 1997 Mondeo for £200 just before the trip and it performed admirably, no problems whatsoever even in the 3000 miles in 2 weeks it covered. A bit thirsty, but OK never the less. So good in fact we are going to take it to Munich for Oktoberfest shortly!

I'm told that inspiration for this website was from Dazultra's excellent euro-trip website.

Hope you enjoy
Morgan.

Hi, nice report! Seems like you´ve had a great time. Did you have any troubles with driving on the right since you are British and you have a right-wheel drive?

Believe it or not we all found it much more intuitive! Easier to drive on the right.

Hello

Nice is nice  Wink

The Millau bridge is nice too, but IIRC when I crossed it it was free... I mean, you pay a motorway tax depending on the number of km you "use", but there is no "bridge" tax like the one for the bridge between La Rochelle and Ile de Ré...

Some times my English is purely fonatiks...

Yeah thats great thanks!

Quoting Airboeing (Reply 5):

Its €7.80 toll for the bridge which is only for the bridge as the motorway itself isn't tolled at that stage.
