Kiwi shoe/boot polish has been in that style can for about 50 years. My guess is it was probibly brought to Spain by someone in the USN, as it is a tan boot polish. It also could have been lost by a tourist from the US, but I have doubts about why they would pack shoe polish for a vacation.

Ok so I'm bored and I did some research Big grin

Apparently they trademarked that desing in 1926.

But they are using a new one by now:

So in conclusion: it could be old or it could be really old. Big grin

As to how it got here I have no idea.

US Navy? I am guessing that the polish tin was not manufactured in the USA. *cf. "Thoroughly").

OP: What is written at the bottom of the reverse ? I mean the "Fabricated ... Licence ..." etc.

Noticeably absent is the UPC code which has been around for the last 30 years or so....
