I would like to know what life is like after the summer months, is there much going on? Are restaurants/bars/clubs still open?

I am debating going to Monaco/Nice/Antibes for my masters degree in business, the program is for a year. Right now the schools in that area are my first choice due to the area it is in weather, etc...but I don't want to be bored to death. I'm trying to avoid Paris in the winter. London is a bit expensive right now for the USD and I can wait until I find a career there, so it seems just right.

I'll be traveling around as well too, Oktoberfest in Munich, Venice, Barcelona etc.

I suppose the weather is nice year round in Nice? Nice is nice?

Actually, London isn't particularly bad at all these days with the USD. The Euro, on the other hand, is kicking our butts

I've visited Nice countless times in the Winter, last time was last December and we enjoyed a lovely break with 17 degrees celcius. I was there this summer and it was beautiful.

However, if you think London is bad for $$$$ you haven't seen the prices on the Riviera!

Of course it depends where you go. But it is pricy.

Oktoberfest in Munich is fantastic! Meet us there next year for a beer?

If madame Concorde sees this she can tell you all about Monaco.

During the off season most of the Pinky"s as my freinds call them have gone home to the North of Europe leaving the Southern Coast of France to the Locals and ex-pats who live down there along with students and tourists.

That area is well known for being expensive and Monaco is known for being extra Expensive.

The schools are equivalently prestigious, so I'm trying to use other factors which will play a role in my decision of where to go.

The only school I'm not sure I will be accepted to is LSE, if I make it in, I will go there....

Bonjour,

Which schools are you considering going to ? I was a student at EDHEC. The campus is small but the location is great, right next to the airport !

I am considering either EDHEC, CERAM-ESC Lille Sophia Antopolis, or International University of Monaco(it has ridiculous connections with networking from what I've heard).

I visited EDHEC over this summer, right on the promenade des anglais...not too bad.

Would you consider Ceram a top business school? According to the rankings in Masters of Science, its pretty decent.
