India PM Manmohan singh met USA President Obama yesterday.
I hope among other issues,cross border terrorism is on the top agenda,considering a year of 26/11 has almost passed........The people are eager to see progress.

No  Smile there wasn't. Given that Dr. Singh is a vegetarian - it was a predominantly vegetarian menu - eith exception of curry prawns:

See, I hope it was the finest American cuisine. Complete with apple pie for dessert.

Not that I mind Indian food, especially Punjabi food. It's the best food in the world! But he's visiting the U.S., so he should enjoy the best of our cuisine!

Incidentally, I was once invited to a social function at the Indian consulate in New York City. OMG the food was good! They had one of the best chefs flown in from the embassy in D.C. I ate so much I felt sick the next day, but it was SOOOO worth it!

In that second photo, I get the sense that Mrs. Obama is not so comfortable in the dress. It's a beautiful piece, though.

He's from Punjab, in Northern India.
