anyone know of an easy way to transfer media from Apple to windows or vice versa?

I just realized I have an older Win notebook that can be used instead of apple TV(apple tv is still on radar as I like simple).....But most of my content is sitting on my Mac....I need an easy way to move it there.

Plus anything I get on my win notebook I want to get it back to my Apple if I want to watch in bed or elsewhere.

Sometimes all you can do is look them in the eye and ask " how much did your mom drink when she was pregnant with you?"

Could you specify more precisely what part of "transferring media from Apple to Windows or vice-versa" you need help with?

Is it the actual part of transferring the files? For that, you use Windows networking. A Mac can connect to a Windows notebook easily.

Are you afraid of compatibility issues with the media itself? Both Mac and Windows can read more or less any format out there...

Is there anything specific that doesn't work?

Yeah...Itunes force you to use Cd's., lots and lots of them.

I have a huge tv,movie, music collection on MAC itunes that I want to transfer to a windows ITUNES....

Ideally if I could copy a file to a Hard drive and then connect to windows and move file.

Or somehow let me network and just drag entire file over at once.

Not at all – you can connect remotely via network to the iTunes library on the respective other computer and stream the remote files; Since the last upgrade, iTunes can even copy over the files right within iTunes.

The only condition is that both iTunes instances need to belong to the same iTunes Store account, but in your case that should be no problem.
