I'll start with mine:

"Vucko" the wolf - 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo

"Naranjito" the orange - 1982 Football World Cup in Spain

"Sleepy" the bear - US Travelodge hotels

Got to be Boomer from the Indiana Pacers. I wish I had a way to post a picture of him, but it's pretty cool when he is out there on the court.

Behold - the Billiken. Strange but unique.

From an ATC exchange last month between my instructor and St. Louis Approach during one of our IFR cross-countries:

STL: Billiken 27, question.
BKN27: Go ahead.
STL: What is a Billiken?
BKN27: It's the school mascot. A Chinese mythical creature. You rub its belly for good luck.
STL: Billiken 27, roger.
