Named After: Earnest W. Seaholm (School Board superintendent, 1952)
Previously Named: Birmingham High School

there is a high school in this area...its up the road a little bit in wytheville...george wythe high school...their name is the "Maroons"...how and why they have this name i have no idea...i was there for a marching band competition about 2 months ago...

Bellaire High School
Named After: The neighborhood in which it is located (Bellaire, Tx). Bellaire is a community inside of Houston that has its own Police and Fire dept. and council. However, the schools there are Houston schools, the residents have council representatives in the Houston City Council, and pays Houston taxes, and votes in Houston elections.

Mountain View High School, Mesa, Arizona... it was called Mountain View because you could see the moutains!!! Pretty clever.
We were the Toros (so far the best mascot here I think)
Ummm, colors were red and blue.
What else, we only had grades 10-12, 9th graders are at the junior highs in Mesa.
Nicknames... MVT and La Vista.

Yes, same Bellaire with the little league team. I don't actually live in Bellaire, but I am zoned to Bellaire High School, which is a Houston Public School. Bellaire shares schools/taxes etc. with Houston.
