Tonight 1AM ET. on Capitol Hill, all Senators are mandated to vote on a "yea" or "nay" vote to end an almost 3 week debate on Health Care. This will be a cloture vote, to finally end debates and filibusters from the Republican side on the 2100 page health care bill. The heated debate in the Senate has gone overboard according to Senator Dick Durbin from Illinois (Majority Whip), today 12-20-09 live in the Senate Chamber, Mr. Durbin made an important statement saying that Republican Senator Coburn wished that the American people prayed for him that he would not be able to make the 1AM vote early Monday morning. Durbin called Coburn's wish for the American people, a disgust and totally a negative thing to say. This health care debate and bill has reached all the way into other Senators personal lives. I say way to go, we need to pass this health care reform now, time has run out, over 14,000 people are losing their insurance every day, people are dying, people cant afford quality and affordable care, now is the time, Christmas is not important this year, Health Care Reform is overally important to save peoples lives, not Christmas presents like an expensive Lexus or $10,000 diamond ring is not going to save some one diagnosed with Cancer. People lets get our heads straight and President Obama will sign this bill this week baby, may God Bless and have mercy on those uninsured and ill who are dying as of right now!

you want your premiums to go sky high? Do you want to be left in the middle of nowhere? Do you want insurance companies to deny you coverage because of a pre-existing condition? Do you want insurance companies to place a cap on your coverage? Do you want to pay more expensive co-pays? Do you want insurance companies to stop your coverage because you are getting sick all the time?
 Sad

They already have. My state has mandated that every person in the state has health insurance. In about two years it my premiums have more than doubled. So dont tell me about high premiums. And stop being so dramatic. This country is going to be MUCH better off without Obama and co shoving an additional expense down our throats.

You must be Republican I conclude. Well I am nor Republican or Democrat. But I am an Independent, and I am more supportive towards Democrat. Now I also have noticed my premiums go higher and higher, and I am going to make sure that this Health Care Bill passes before many of those rich people out there get to open their new Christmas present that is their $60,000 Lexus or $25,000 gold watch. So whether you like it or not, its a good bill and its going to insure 30 million under insured people in this country. Health Care is everything in this country, its 1/6 of our economy and life is a precious thing.

sarcastic  You would be completely mistaken. I am a registered democrat who can see a pile of bs when he sees it, ie this administrations healthcare plan.

And they will only go up more once it passes. Healthcare isn't free. Just because Obama wants to hand it out for free doesn't mean the rest of us wont be paying for it. Its a shame that more people cant open their eyes and see that this will bankrupt our country.

All those "Rich People"? Did you seriously just write that as justification as to why we need health care now? Those evil "Rich People" pay for the vast majority of this country's expenses as is. You think this bill will ruin their day, make them cry, maybe give back their money to all the poor Cambodian children they stole it from? If your trying to paint a picture of disillusionment from wealth, then look no further than yourself.....

Hey Hey Hey Hey now, lets be nice okay. I am not trying to nail rich people in this country, I am just trying to say what is very important than exchanging gifts on Christmas, because if it wasnt, then Congress wouldn't hold sessions late Sunday nights, and they will on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day  Big grin now I am never going to be rich in money, fame, or fortune in life, however I will be rich health wise, education wise, mind wise, and intelligent forever. You see, I dont smoke, drink, or use drugs, I dont even gamble, thats why this Health Care means so much to me. There is a lot of controversy over this health care bill, rumors, and myths about death panels, rising premiums, all this BS, is just to slow the process down and kill the bill so the insurance companies can make record profits. Is that what you want?
