I doubt it, I am not. Maybe though he will have an awakening realizing he is mortal like the rest of us and discontinue his spewing of the hate messages. There just might be a judge up there Rush, Repent while ye can.

I hope so, I have no use for any of them. It was Rush though that has the chest pain problem. I wish ill health on very few, Rush does not even come close to getting on my list. Now Osama, well he has made it.

What? You want me to be nice to the man? A known liar? A man who said that all drug addicts should be sent up the river? A man who called the ACLU "commie?" and then received their legal assistance when he was hooked on drugs? A man whose personal life is in shambles and who rants on about family values?

Get well, Rush. But maybe it's time to retire.

Rush's chest pains have nothing to do with what he says on air - just the fact that his job is very sedentary and he's already overweight. I highly doubt he has a healthy diet either. Considering the heightened emotion he uses when speaking, his blood pressure is likely high as well or he's possibly on medication for it. Either way, he's just hit four of the top five risk factors for serious heart disease. Don't know about his family history, but if he has heart attacks in his DNA, then that's five for five - and batting 1.000 is no funny business when it comes to heart health.

Doc, don't forget he used to give AIDS updates preceded by Dionne Warwick's "I Know I'll Never Love This Way Again."

from this website , earlier in his "career":

"During Reagan's second term a little known disc jocky in Sacramento, California was making a name for himself by reading off the names of gay men who had died from AIDS each week while pushing the applause button and laughing (Character Matters.) The success of taking so much joy in so much innocent suffering made Rush Limbaugh the most popular voice on California radio."

So while i'm not at the point wishing him death (yet -- jury's still out!), whatever I hope he's going through is excruciatingly painful.  Smile

he's already overweight.

You must've not him or a recent picture of him. He's dropped a considerable amount of weight in recent years.

When he appeared on Jay Leno's show last month, he roughly looked about the same size as Jay. Even Jay was surprised at Rush's dramatic weight loss when he first saw him in person.

Quoting Aaron747 (Reply 15):
I highly doubt he has a healthy diet either.

That may be true; though I haven't seen his diet so I can't make a full judgment call. While one can lose weight be eating less and exercising, a poor diet can still take its toll on the heart.

The deaths of runners Jim Fixx and Ryan Shay are two examples of non-overweight people having heart trouble (although Fixx used to be overweight prior to taking up running).

At his current size he's still overweight. In any case it's better for him to live at a reduced weight but damage could very well have already been done.

Quoting PHLBOS (Reply 19):

Jim Fixx had a family history of heart problems and serious coronary artery disease when he died - not altogether unusual. Exercise won't help you at all if you have that condition. Ryan Shay died of somewhat rare hypertrophy, which is enlargement of heart tissue that can cause normally benign arrythmias to become deadly. Again, you can be the picture of health but if you don't have an echo or chest x-ray at the right time, that one will get you.

Nicely put. I do not agree with the man, but whishing him (or anyone) ill or death is in very poor taste. Many of us are above that. I would be happy to never hear from him again, but I would rather he just go back to Missouri and sit in a basement waiting for the rapture. But this? No.
