I really don't like heavy very much (my musical origins come more from punk!), but I have friends who have this music deeply in their heart. I played for one of them in a black metal band, and enjoyed a lot, hell! what a speedy music!
But in your band list of above there is a band I really like... Sepultura, with all that ethnic influences and rythms!

Seriously, went to Zeta's Bonzai in downtown Miami Friday night. Some observations:
-Rob Zombie is looking way older than he is.
-Kid Rock plays with a certain zeal these days...you think he's getting it good at home?
-Puddle of Mudd rocks.
-Met a band called Apex Theory. There's a real buzz on them, starting to hit. They're right at that point where they've still got stars in their eyes ans think everyone they meet is cool. Typically with rock bands, one or two smash hits and 9 times out of 10 they grow egos the size of Minnesota. But they're very cool dudes right now. I wish em the best.

Heavy Metal all the way. Last september I saw the Pledge of Allegience tour in Denver. American Head Charge, Mudvayne, Rammstein, System of a Down, and Slipknot played. It was absolultly spectacular. Rammstein and System were the best if you ask me
