So as I near my ten year airliners.net anniversary (*bows* thank you, thank you, no really thank you), I was wondering who some of the other oldies are still around. Granted, I took a nice little break from the forums, but now that I'm back (every now and then), I am curious who has been around a long time and even who has been around the longest. I'll start.
I joined airliners.net on February 2, 2000 at the spritely young age of 16! That's 9 years and 356 days! Whew.... where's my cane?

While only a registered member for almost 6 years, I contributed photos back in 1999 and read the forums for a few years before finally having the balls to register and actively participate in discussions. This place was intimidating back then. Back when many industry professionals with years of experience participated before eventually being run off by "know-it-all" 13-15 year-olds. And then, if you posted something that had already been asked, or forget a period in your sentence...BAM! Everyone jumped all over you.
But yeah, while my screen name doesn't say so, I have been here for over 10 years.

I had my ten year anniversary this past December. Started lurking around sometime in 1998 or so. I kept wanting to see the first pic of an AA 777 as I would be flying on one the summer of 1999. So, it was just before AA got their first 777, whenever that was.
When did this site become a pay site btw? Being senior-citizen here has it's benefits I suppose.

You got me by a month, I joined in March, 2000 during my Senior Year of College. I've actually been visiting the site since '98 but I only looked at the photos and never participated in discussions. I remember very early on the general aviation discussion forums were much more technical in nature.

I guess I joined in 2000. I don't look, but I know it says on my profile. The same time I joined this board, there was another guy in high school who was on, too. He lived near Green River Community College, I think and I lived near the casino. We never actually met, but he did meet my then partner.

If we are going to compare "boring" airports, we get biz jet, Cessna, QX, Cessna, Piper, QX, Piper, Piper, Mooney......

At least DL/NW has different airplanes (737, A320, 747/757/767/777, etc). WestJet just flies the 737NG. At YYC, it's like this: WestJet, WestJet, WestJet, Jazz, Air Canada, WestJet, WestJet, WestJet, WestJet, oh look, British Airways/KLM/Lufthansa! Finally, some variety!
Anyway, I'm still a youngun, at 4 years, 217 days, having joined (free) June 19, 2005, a month after my 15th birthday, being First Class since December 25, 2006, and having read A.Net forums since before the FLAIRPORT debacle in Non-Av back in 2005.
