I'm browsing Flikr images, and small pics are making my eyes strain.
So I have increased the size, and moved my eyes further away, but the image is now working out as the same size as when I had my head nearer the screen (Obviously) But It got me thinking, the pic is still the same size going through my eyes, yet no eye strain...
So what about when outside, if you englarge a tree leaf, so it is the same size as when you had your eyeball right in the leaf giving you strain...
Am I making send

Quoting Klaus (Reply 1): Your eyes will have to focus on the screen in either case, so you may have a problem with properly focusing on a closer distance.
This does make a difference. Eye strain doesn't usually have anything to do with the apparent size of an object
It's quite interesting though isn't it
I mean when I've been on the computer a few hours, I go outside and see car Number Registrations a bit out of focus so takes a while to get my eyes back to long distance
