I have heard they are planning to scrap the Malaysia GP? This is most recent from when I was in Singapore.
I hope BMW Sauber will give him a car with parts that will hold together.

Hope this race will be as entertaining as the last one.
Will be interesting to see how things will end with Ferrari, McLaren and Redbull all having competitive cars. The only problem is the reliability of the redbull cars, but maybe things will be better this weekend.

Yeah, that would good. It would even be better if it rained during the first few laps, then drying up and then some more rain in the end.

I read it as...."Ok I get it now, I'm still upset but I guess it makes sense"...and..."Live, Learn, Move on"
Actually Martin Whitmarsh inferred that he's like that on the radio all the time, and that it's normal, and that they're ok with it.

I think this track is pretty good in terms of viewing the cars at their maximum, but it never really produces great races for the lead (I guess most every track is guilty of that, and this one suffers because it was introduced in '99, at the beginning of the "no passing" era). Anyway, I think the fast nature of the corners and the downforce priority that this entails will suit the Red Bulls very nicely. I see Vettel finally winning a race as the car holds together (barring any weather-related occurrences), and Webber pulling his head out of his arse for a decent race and a possible 1-2 for that team. The hopeful side of me wants to see Massa lead home Schumacher for the win, but realistically I see Ferrari and Mclaren fighting it out for the last spot on the podium, with it going to Massa once again. I also think Schumacher will outperform Nico for the first time this year as he is fairly settled and this is a track he's excelled at ever since his comeback dominance in 1999 (after all, he gave plenty of input into its design when Tilke was creating the layout!).

Malaysia typically produces a downpour during the race. Last year happened to be worse than others.

From what I can recall, only Virgin have a car that isn't put together properly.
I'm not sure how I should interpret this (although I think that Hamilton has been "obliged to understand" the team strategy), but just when I thought drivers could get out of their formatted speech and their politically correct attitude - which is very booooooring (Montoya, Villeneuve, Mansell, Piquet, Prost, Senna, etc., I miss you!) - then I get to read this shit:
Quote: It's good to see the team celebrating Jenson's win - victories are very important for our team because they not only bring everyone closer together, but they also help validate the work we're doing and the approach we're taking. After a difficult 2009 season and our regrouping over the winter, I think the win in Australia will make the whole team a lot stronger.

Virgin Racing in Shock Driver Buyout
FOFA's insider sources in the paddock can exclusively reveal that Lucas di Grassi and Timo Glock reached an agreement with Virgin Racing's management to purchase the team from its current owners. The move comes after the pair retired from the opening races of the 2010 season and a disappointing winter testing which was described by a person close to di Grassi's management as "uma m#rda total".
Timo Glock secretly explained the situation to FOFA's paddock infiltrator: "Basically we couldn't stand it any more. I still have my old connections at Toyota so we'll be running what would've been Toyota's 2010 car or Stefan's car. The team will be called 'Lumoglossi GP', it comes from the combined first syllables of our names. Bernie doesn't mind and Jean gave us his stamp of approval. All current Virgin cars will be burnt during a lavish party dedicated to the launch of our new team in China. Lucas wanted to destroy the cars personally with a chain-saw but I advised him not to because he may hurt himself or the guests. Eco-friendly bonfire ceremony is much better."
We asked Sir Richard Branson to confirm the story but he refused to speak to us.

So weather could again play some role in the race.
Most likely RB and Ferrari will battle for P1, McLaren and Merc close behind. Renault and FI will feature in Q3.
Definately we're to see some front wings flying or bumps at turns 1,2 and 3. And of course Kubica will benefit from this Rosberg for another Heidfeld-type drive ?
I'd like to see Petrov score some points, he says he knows the track well. McLarens and RBs should do well on the long straights.
I'm guessing some sort of reliability issues for RB or some mishaps for a few drivers like Webber/Alonso/Schumi. This could be another one stop race if it's not too hot.
