Live as in you mean they're performing today?

It's a live show (previously) recorded in Holland if i'm not mistaken, during their Snakes and Arrows Tour.

That would probably be the DVD they released - Snakes and Arrows Live. Was filmed in Rotterdam.

It's worth purchasing - great show as always, and much better quality than Rush in Rio.

"Two and a Half Men" was filmed in front of a live ostrich.

I'd have to respectfully disagree.
Rush in Rio has so much more raw energy and I have never seen such an enthusiastic and spirited Rush concert than the Rio show.

I love "early" Rush stuff such as Fly By Night, 2112. I really haven't listened to much Rush after Signals/Grace Under Pressure.

Oh. My. God.

I just watched a bunch of songs from that dvd on youtube... I haven't got chills like that in a long time. Pure awesomeness.

Haha, fair enough. I wasn't talking about the performance, though. I thought the sound quality and video quality was better on the Snakes and Arrows DVD. Makes sense, too, if you read the liner notes on the Rush in Rio DVD. They had to deal with a host of technical problems.

Performance-wise, and especially audience-wise, the Rio DVD is unbeatable. That crowd was amazing, and I think that's a large part of why Geddy, Alex, and Neil themselves had so much energy.

Consider that in the behind the scenes footage on the Rio DVD, freaking SEPULTURA is interviewed when they attend the show in Sao Paulo (I think). And they are so excited that Rush is finally performing in Brazil....that still brings a smile to my face.

(interesting side note: on Iron Maiden's Flight 666 tour documentary, I'm pretty sure that when they are in Brazil, they show Steve Harris playing soccer with guys from Sepultura....those guys are some serious fans!)
