So, Last sunday was the season finale for Amazing Race 16. The teams flew from Shanghai, China to San Francisco, California onboard a UA 777. Before the flight landed in San Francisco, one of the teams, Dan and Jordan asked the stewardess if they can move to "first class" so they could exit the aircraft first. Eventually, Dan and Jordan won the race, winning the $1,000,000. There was an article about Dan and Jordan stating that their move to first class changed everything, however while I was watching the show, there was 3 seats in the middle, meaning they were sitting on Business class..but it doesn't really matter. Overall, I really didn't like season 16, I was hoping for the Cowboys to win...

I really don't like the Amazing Race anymore. Much of the finish each week comes down to luck and happenstance, with the challenges not being all that challenging.

I was disappointed that the cowboys didn't win either. To me, they honestly played a good clean game. However, I'm so freakin' glad that the stupid models didn't win. I can't believe they made it to the top three teams.
As for the Dan and Jordan, I thought for sure they would incur a penalty for moving to Business Class (was obvious it wasn't First). I thought there was something in the contracts/rules that they couldn't fly First or Business.
I know in a previous season, a team was given a penalty because they flew in Business Class.

The difference is that they can't purchase tickets in business or first. Buying coach and then asking to sit up front is alright I guess.

They never should have been on in the first place, IMO. The bimbo girl is known by the country (world?). In the intro of this season, they specifically said the teams were made up of "every day people" but, really, how "every day" is Miss Teen South Carolina, a pitching coach for the Dodgers and contestants from Big Brother? My partner and I have sent in three tapes/applications and drove all night from Portland to Sacramento for a live interview. When is our turn?
I love each Amazing Race. I was really hoping the cowboys would win, too. It is cool watching a city where you live on the show. I don't get to SFO much, but I know some of the places. A few years ago, they were in PDX. That was fun to see that, too.

I also think the cowboys should have won.
And how about that lesbian lady at the end (I forget her name)? What a poor sport.

They cast for interesting personalities that make from good TV. They claim "every day" people, but if they put the average Joe on the show, it probably wouldn't be as interesting.

You're not allowed to buy J or F class tickets, but moving from Coach to J or F is okay (as long as u bought a Y ticket)

Caity (howver u spell it) tried to apologize to her, but she denied it. She's really a poor sport, its a game and Caity and her boyfriend (whatver his name is) has the right to U-turn them...

I agree 100% with you. Hell...Jordan from Big Brother won...shouldn't that exclude her from playing or something! LOL
Here's to you and your partner getting picked on an upcoming season!
