So the champions league final will be hosted in Madrid this coming Saturday....i noticed how much attention the Europa league final got, so I am guessing the Champions league final will get as much, if not more attention.

so what kind of new/rare visitors should we be looking for (charter wise)

thanks and sorry if this has been posted before, but i did not see anything

Go BAYERN MÜNCHEN

I'm confident Bayern will win it, even if it goes to penalties (and we all know how German teams have always been highly successful in penalties). Germany (in this case, the FC Bayern) needs to win the Champions League, because this way, we can pass Italy in the UEFA-Ratings. German football is on the rise again (if you overlook the embarassment of the HSV in Craven Cottage).

The girls from Turbine Potsdam already showed us how to win the UCL (at least the UWCL) yesterday in Getafe. Now the Bayern have to follow suit at the Santiago Bernabeu.   And the best part: Real Madrid is forced to watch, how despite their major investment, two other teams are better than them.

As a FCBarcelona supporter...

Yes!! GO BAYERN! (even tho we did not treat you very nicely last year)

please Bayern Munchen... defeat Inter Milan and whipe that smug smile off Mourinho's face...

Hopefully Inter will not use the same strategy as in Camp Nou when only Barca played an Inter just lined up everyone at the goal line.

There's only a certain amount of catenaccio that I'm willing and able to tolerate. Plus, I absolutely despise Italian football as a whole. Therefore I, a BVB fan, will be hoping for a Bayern victory this coming Saturday.

They invested millions. They bought the best players available. They were eliminated from the Champions League, lost the League and have remained trophyless for this season. And best of it all, they're going to get a nice "Lehrstunde" by Bayern and Inter at their home stadium on how to win the Champions League. Here's to more millions and trophyless seasons Madrid.

And yet, they still have not learn that money will NOT buy you everything.

Amen to that my friend!

What amuses me is that Madrid will watch from the sidelines as Snijder and Robben will battle it out for glory, both having almost single handedly carrying their respective teams to the final. GO BAYERN! SHOVE IT MADRID!

Should be an interesting tactical battle between masterminds and uber-egos Van Gaal and Mourinho. Inter will focus on neutralizing Arjen Robben.

Go Bayern!

I hope bayern wins, but I can see Inter winning. Defense wins big in cruch games like this and Inter's back 5 have been unbreakable all season, while Bayerns back 5 does have its moment. I expect Milito and Etoo to capitalise

Tomorrow I'll be wearing my Barça jersey, which until today, I have not used. Since usually, getting a Bayern jersey would be heresy for someone who's not a Bayern fan (unless it's a gift), that will do to show who I'll support (Bayern of course, because they represent Germany in this final).

I'm pissed because Bayern lost the final themselves. Two defensive errors, one by van Buyten and the other by Demichelis, allowed Diego Milito to score, and his two shots were the only shots on target that turned into goals. Inter was out to counterattack, and they did so brilliantly, taking advantage of what was a bad defence last night. Bayern was also pretty helpless against a Júlio César, who has beyond his best.

I seriously wonder though why van Gaal didn't replace either Demichelis or van Buyten with somebody else, like e.g. Diego Armando Contento (who has been on a roll recently). In the end, they just trusted themselves into the hands of Edeljoker Miroslav Klose, though I concede that Altintop had to leave.

Felicitazione per il tittulo della Champions League, FC Internazionale!

Yep, all Inter had to do was to just wait for Bayern's defence to make a mistake or two to score - and they did. Bayern looked extremely slow and tired and their offense lacked the creativity of the past couple of weeks.

Altintop played an extremely weak game yesterday, but then again Inter's defending is just a class higher. In the end, Ribery's suspension was a deciding factor in the outcome of the match. I'm quite sure he would've created enough havoc on the left side, thus allowing Robben and Olic the needed space to be dangerous enough to score.

Mourinho may be an arrogant f*ck, but he sure is one of the best coaches out there. Congrats to Inter, they deserved it!

I recorded the match and watched it this morning. Quite a good game.

The Jose love in at the end was a bit over the top though - At least on UK TV.

It's as if Jose has actually played in the match and scored a hattrick himself.
