Vice President Joe Biden will be traveling to Egypt, Kenya, and South Africa in about two weeks or so in June of this year. His primary visit is to talk about relations with those countries and policies. He will be hosting the US soccer team opening ceremony in South Africa. I wonder if President Obama came up with the plan to send him to Africa? Or if VP Biden decided this trip himself? This will be very interesting, because both Obama and Biden will be out of the country at the same time next month when Obama heads to Indonesia and Australia for his trip.

Biden loves taking in sporting events on the tax payers' dime doesn't he? His motorcade was constantly causing havoc in Vancouver when I was there during the winter Olympics. Then again it will keep him out of trouble and his foot out of his mouth.

Huh........very surprising
Quoting YOWza (Reply 1): Biden loves taking in sporting events
I was kind of thinking the other day, that if Biden was traveling to South Africa, there would be no doubt that he would attend the FIFA 2010 soccer games, and I was also thinking, what if he is so much into sports and likes attending them??? and after that educated guess, I guess I was right. He does likes sports and attends them regularly.

I am not sure if Mr. Biden will be talking about the nuclear talks as far as Africa goes, but I dont doubt that he will mention the latest Israeli attacks, while he is in Egypt. Even though Egypt is part of the African continent, its also part of the Middle East and very close to Israel and Palestine as well as other Arab nations in that region. So yea, I bet Mr. Biden will have some remarks with the Egyptian President about the recent Israeli attacks.
