What I mean is, have you ever met and fallen in love with someone who is way beyond your reach? Someone who fits the term "Out of my league"?
The way I see it, doing so has two sides. You are shown an example of what a person can be, yet you are forced to raise you standards above what you may be able to achieve...

Quite a few times actually, and most of those time's I've ended up getting them afterall, and most of those times, quickly realized they might be angels, but the opposite of the type that come from above!

I gave that up years ago TWA L1011. If they don't like what I am, they're not worth my time.
I think a test for people to live in the southwest US should be no A/C in the car for a summer.

Haven't had a major argument yet, but that's probably only because she is an angel, and because I'm just so cute and helpful and easy to be with and all...(well, you did say they would get us to raise our standards!)
