I bought a new keyboard for the computer, but the pound sign doesn't seem to work, the dollar sign works.
shift+4 = $
shift+3 = #
I get the hash sign instead of a pound sign. I went to the keyboard settings in the control panel and tried to change the keyboard layout to British English, but it asks for Win ME disk. I put that in but it doesn't work.

When prompted for the ME disc, you need to actually direct with the browse button to where the actual files are kept on the cd. For some reason windows ME was really crap for that, but it will work. If you can get it, email me on email@example.com and I will give you my tel number and talk you through it
