Hi all,
I'm trying to find some information about the Southend (SEN) airport railway station, as I'm due to fly from there at the end of August, coming in from central London.
Until now, I've found some official articles, the most recent dated from March 2010, stating a "summer 2010" or "end of July 2010" as opening date.
I can't seem to find much recent information about the station construction progress. Could some local shed more light on this, and confirm that the station will be in operation at the end of August ?

I am not sure when it is due to open, but right now Southend Airport is served by Rochford station.
The line is operated currently by National Express East Anglia; http://www.nationalexpresseastanglia.com/
I would imagine some information would be avaliable on their website. At my local station all the information I have seen about it is a notice saying that the timetables will be adjusted when this station opens this summer.
