Yesterday, 01 jul 2010 was one of the best days in my life: I went to Rammstein's concert in Villafranca di Verona

It was very, very crowded because the castle area isn't very big, and there were so many people, some sources say 14.000 people. It was also very hot , but it was also so coooool!!!!

A big thankyou to my two friends who went at the show and shared this experience with me!!!

Here are some pictures and a video (bad quality)

Verona sounds more like Pavarotti to me.

A wonderful place to have a rock concert. Great lights on stage it seems.

I don't know Rammstein. It looks like you all had a good time.

There was a better way to fly it was called Concorde

Seems you had a good time. I went to see Rammstein in Bergen, Norway a few weeks ago, and they were outstanding. Must be one of the best liveshows in the world. And the warm-up band was great too... Alice in Chains. A lot of great music and explosive stage effects that night.
Rammstein were a bit late on stage, as they wanted to wait for the sun to go down before starting their show. Considering the show was in a country where the sun doesn't set until about 11PM during the summer, they kept us waiting for a while, but it was well worth it.
I'm guessing the show I saw was more or less identical to the one you saw, in which case I'm sure you'll agree the pyrotechnics and flamethrowers were impressive as always with Rammstein, as well as the arguing between Till and Flake, which is always a good laugh.

Wish they had played more of the old stuff, but all in all a great concert experience, as I'm sure was your conclusion aswell.

A photo I took at the concert in Bergen. (Though to be fair Alice in Chains were still on...):

I don't know Rammstein.

Unforgivable, Rammstein is a world famous German band known for his melodious rendition of middle ages castle music, with poetic lyrics and vintage decors.

Yes, it was absolutely astonishing. Fireworks and flames were great and very....hot. I also liked ther worm up band, "Combichrist" who played 19,30 through 20,00. Then people started becoming anxious to see Rammstain and their show started at 21 o'clock and finished at 22,30. Everything was perfect even if I already knew they wouldn't have played "Mein Teil", a song I like so much.

@ panHAM Unfortunately I don't have other pictures of the animal ahahaahah

They are presently negotiating the terms and conditions for the fuel tanks. Be patient.

I booked tickets for this concert (not cheap at 65 euros!) but unfortunately couldn't go as I was needed in Bosnia. But looks like you had a great time

I hope those 65€ included the elegant asbestos suit, a must for dancing to their tune...

Got tired of waiting for them to come to the US, so I wentto Geneva in 2009 and Bergen this year. By far, one of the best live bands around. I have all of their stuff. Just hope I can get to a few more shows sometime/somewhere as I dont think they will ever play in the States again.
