I still admire the PR manager of the Sea Life Oberhausen. The guy who started this whole oracle thing needs a salary bonus. Incredible free PR. This has to be one of the most successful PR campaigns free of charge ever.

Quoting petertenthije (Reply 8): The last final the octopus predicted wrong, as well!
Besides, apparantly there is also a Nostradamus-parakeet in Singapore who predicts Oranje to win.
With this many correct predictions, I would go with Paul el Purpo.

hmmmm..... Paul Nostradamus Octopus the Great had it right again tonight by predicting the win of Germany over Uruguay.... Garmany took a while to get to 2-2 and then score the last winning goal.
This octopus is really amazing. I am really curious if he will be right again tomorrow with his prediction of Spain winning the final match and taking the Cup back home while I will be looking at the final with totally neutral eyes.
All the power to Paul the Octopus!!!!

Let's see how long before Ladbrokes or William Hill in England decides to buy this octopus and use it as a source for legal sports bets in that country.

Quoting TheSonntag (Reply 23): He might, because German tabloid Bild wrote some days ago that poor Paul never had sex...
They tend to not survive it for long, so be careful what you wish for him...!
