Hey, I'm going to Hawaii in July, will be spending 3 full days there plus a half day, and want a killer tan when I get back to Chicago.
What's the best formula to use? I want something that will give me a really good tan, but still provide a little protection. I live in Illinois, so my skin is rather white after our long midwest winter.

Don't laugh, but I've been told it is car brake fluid. I've used it myself and got that killer tan you are talking about. Can't say I suffered any ill effects either. Got that tip from my days in the army when regular sun tan lotion wasn't available.
